Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Step 3 -In a large bowl, add the flour, the sugar, the baking soda, and the salt and stir to combine.
Step 4 -In a second large bowl, add the eggs, the mashed bananas, the canola oil, the buttermilk, and the vanilla extract and whisk to combine.
Step 5 -Add the banana mixture to the flour mixture and stir until it is combined.
Step 6 -Fold the walnuts into the batter.
Step 7 -Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Step 8 -Bake the banana bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour 15 minutes-1 hour 30 minutes.
Step 9 -Transfer the loaf pan to a wire rack and let the banana bread cool, about 15 minutes.
Step 10 -Use a knife to loosen the sides of the banana bread and invert it onto the wire rack.
Step 11 -Slice and serve.
