Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound shrimp, uncooked, peeled, deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- pasta or rice, cooked and hot, to taste, for serving
Directions
Step 1 –In a large cast-iron skillet or other heavy skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
Step 2 –Add the shrimp to the oil and sauté for 3 minutes.
Step 3 –Add the garlic, the lemon juice, the cumin, and the salt to the shrimp and cook, while stirring, until the shrimp reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F and is plump and pink, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 4 –Stir the parsley into the shrimp.
Step 5 –Serve the shrimp with the hot pasta.
