Step 2 –Add the shrimp and cook until the shrimp reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, about 1 minute 20 seconds per side. Use a timer to avoid overcooking.

Step 3 –Transfer the shrimp onto a plate and set it aside.

Step 4 –In the same skillet over medium heat, add the wine and the garlic and cook until the wine reduces by half, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 5 –Add the chicken broth, the Italian seasoning, and the mustard powder to the wine mixture and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.

Step 6 –Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until the sauce mixture thickens, about 6-7 minutes.

Step 7 –Reduce the heat to low and stir the heavy cream and the parmesan cheese into the sauce until well-combined.

Step 8 –Add the shrimp to the sauce and cook until heated through, about 30 seconds.

Step 9 –Add the butter to the shrimp mixture and tilt the pan to swirl the butter through the sauce until it melts.

Step 10 –Transfer the pan from the heat and add the lemon juice.

Step 11 –Garnish the shrimp mixture with the parsley.

Step 12 –Serve.
