Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen tater tots, at room temperature
- 1 ounce sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4-inch squares
- 4 slices bacon, quartered
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, chopped
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 –Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Step 3 –Wrap each tater tot and each cheese square in a single piece of the bacon, working one at a time and continuing until all of the tater tots, the cheese, and the bacon are used.
Step 4 –Dredge each wrapped tater tot in the brown sugar, pressing to coat.
Step 5 –Place the wrapped tater tots seam-side down onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6 –Bake the tater tots, using metal tongs to flip them halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the tots are cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.
Step 7 –Serve garnished with the parsley.
