- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- lemon wedges, to taste, for garnish

Directions
Step 1 –Season both sides of the salmon fillets with the salt and the black pepper.
Step 2 –In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the oil.
Step 3 –Add the seasoned salmon fillets to the heated oil, skin-side up, and cook, undisturbed, until a golden-brown crust forms, about 5 minutes.
Step 4 –Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, become opaque, and easily flake, about 5-6 minutes.
Step 5 –Transfer the cooked salmon fillets to a plate and cover with foil to keep them warm.
Step 6 –In the same skillet, melt the butter.
Step 7 –Add the garlic to the melted butter and cook, stirring constantly, about 30 seconds.
Step 8 –Add the lemon juice, the salt, and the black pepper to the garlic-butter and stir to combine.
Step 9 –Add the cooked salmon fillets to the garlic-butter sauce and spoon it over each fillet.
Step 10 –Serve the salmon fillets garnished with the parsley and the lemon wedges.
