Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3 cups milk chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a 10×15-inch pan with wax paper.

Step 3 –Spread the flour out on a baking tray.

Step 4 –Bake the flour for 5 minutes; this helps kill bacteria in the flour.

Step 5 –In the bowl of a large stand mixer, cream the butter and the brown sugar until it is light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

Step 6 –Beat the vanilla into the butter mixture.

Step 7 –Slowly add the flour into the butter mixture, scraping down the sides as necessary.

Step 8 –With the mixer still running, slowly add the sweetened condensed milk to the butter mixture, scraping down the sides as needed and continuing to mix until it is fully combined.
