  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 (1-ounce or less) packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2-3/4 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • hamburger buns, to taste, for serving

Step 1 –In a slow cooker, add the chicken and sprinkle with the ranch dressing mix.

Step 2 –Place the cream cheese on top of the chicken.

Step 3 –Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat until the chicken is cooked through and tender, about 6-7 hours.

Step 4 –Remove the lid and use two forks to shred the chicken and stir in the cream cheese.
