Ingredients
For the casserole:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 3 (14.5-ounce) cans French-style green beans, drained
For the cracker topping:
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup buttery round crackers, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter.
