Delicious Roasted Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup almonds, optional, sliced

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Wash the green beans and pat them completely dry.

Step 3 –Trim the stem off each side of the green beans.

Step 4 –Place the green beans on a baking sheet and drizzle them with the olive oil.

Step 5 –Season the green beans with the salt and the pepper and toss them to coat.

Step 6 –Spread the green beans out evenly.

Step 7 –Bake the green beans for 15 minutes.

Step 8 –Add the almonds and toss to coat.

Step 9 –Bake until the almonds are toasted and fragrant and the green beans are bright and tender, about 3-5 minutes.

Step 10 –Serve.
