Ingredients
- 16 ounces of refried beans
- 1 cup Picante sauce
- 1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 jalapeño, stems and seeds removed, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 green onions, optional, chopped, for garnish
- tortilla chips, optional, for serving
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a large bowl, combine the refried beans, Picante sauce, pepper jack cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, jalapeño, chili powder, and cumin.
Step 3 –Mix the bean mixture with a hand mixer until combined.
Step 4 –Pour the mixture into a square baking dish or a large oven-safe skillet.
Step 5 –Bake until bubbly and hot, about 25-30 minutes.
