Easy Grilled Steak

When grilling season is in full swing (or you’re just dreaming of it), you don’t want to labor over the hot flames for too long! You need something beefy and breezy to make the most of the warmer weather! Easy Grilled Steak has you covered with a simple, succulent steak that’s easy to make. All it requires is marinating time and high heat. Bam, the steak is ready with plenty of savory, tangy, and even sweet flavors in the crust and a rosy interior beneath! Easy Grilled Steak lets you take it easy in more ways than one!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 (2-pound) flank steak

Directions

Step 1 –In a resealable plastic bag, mix the olive oil, the soy sauce, the lemon juice, the brown sugar, the Worcestershire sauce, the garlic, the red pepper flakes, and the chili powder.

Step 2 –Place the flank steak in the bag and seal it closed.

Step 3 –Marinate the steak in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.

Step 4 –Preheat the grill to the highest possible setting (at least 450 degrees F), making sure it is ready for direct heat.

Step 5 –Place the steak on the hot grill and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 135 degrees F for medium-rare or 140 degrees F for medium, about 5 minutes per side.

Step 6 –Transfer the steak to a plate and tent it with foil.

Step 7 –Allow the steak to rest for 10 minutes.

Step 8 –Slice the steak into long strips, always cutting against the grain.

Step 9 –Serve.
