  • 1 pound medium or large shell pasta
  • 1 pound ground hamburger
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried onion
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 (10.75-ounce) cans tomato soup

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • fresh herbs, such as basil or parsley, optional, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –Cook the pasta to al dente, according to the package directions.

Step 4 –Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Step 5 –In a frying pan, season the hamburger meat with the garlic powder, the dried onion, the salt, and the pepper and cook, while crumbling, until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
