Ingredients

  • butter, to taste
  • 2 slices bread, of your choice
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • herbs, optional, of your choice, to taste, for garnish
  • tomato soup, optional, hot, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Spread the butter on one side of each of the slices of bread.

Step 3 –Place one slice on a baking sheet, butter-side down.

Step 4 –Top the slice on the baking sheet with the cheddar cheese and the mozzarella cheese.

Step 5 –Top the cheese with the other slice of bread, butter-side up.

Step 6 –Bake, flipping halfway through, until browned, about 6 minutes per side.

Step 7 –Serve hot, garnished with the herbs and paired with the tomato soup.
