Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened, divided
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 (3/4-pound) flat iron steak or boneless top sirloin steak
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Step 1 –Mix 1 tablespoon butter with parsley, garlic, and soy sauce.

Step 2 –Sprinkle the steak with salt and pepper.

Step 3 –In a large skillet, heat the remaining butter over medium heat.

Step 4 –Add the steak, cooking until it reaches the desired doneness, reading 135 degrees F for medium-rare or 140 degrees F for medium when checked with a meat thermometer, about 4-7 minutes per side.
