Ingredients

  • 8 cups water
  • 2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt, plus more, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1 –In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

Step 2 –Add the asparagus to the water and cook, uncovered, until they are crisp-tender, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 3 –Drain the asparagus and pat them dry.

Step 4 –In a small saucepan, combine the honey, the butter, the lemon juice, the sea salt, the balsamic vinegar, and the Worcestershire sauce and bring to a boil.
