  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lime zest, grated
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 small head red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish


Step 1 –In a small bowl, whisk the lime zest, the lime juice, the honey, the garlic, the salt, the pepper, and the red pepper flakes together until smooth.

Step 2 –Slowly whisk the oil into the lime mixture until well-blended.
