Exact Answer: 30 to 45 minutes
Some people work out to keep themselves fit and healthy, while some just plan to do that and never start doing it. There are always ways to maintain consistency, and if one does, it is very better to keep the body in shape. Some work out every day of the week, some just work out for four to five days. Either way, working out any time of the day can be good for the health and will keep the person illness-free for a very long time. When one works out, it is not only important to work out regularly, but it is also necessary to include a healthy diet into their lifestyle.
A healthy diet includes eating a lot of vegetables and fruits since they contain many essential nutrients and minerals that maintain the body’s immune system and help in maintaining muscle power and also strengthen them. In the beginning, nobody knows how many hours to work out per day or how many days to work out consistently in a week.
While some join the gym to get in shape, some work out in their houses all by themselves, by consulting a physician and getting a diet and workout plan. There are different kinds of exercises and workouts one can take part in.
How Long Should You Workout A Day?
|Normal routine workout
|30 to 40 minutes
|45 minutes to 1 hour
One should know how to choose the appropriate diet and workout plan, which suits their bodies and their goals. Some choose to work out to lose weight, while some choose to work out even to gain weight. Some strengthen their muscles, some build muscles, while some even work out to become more flexible. How long and how a person works out depends on what their goal is. Some people even choose calm activities that don’t involve many body movements like yoga and meditation. Some, on the other hand, choose dancing and aerobics to make their working out schedule more fun.
It is always better to stretch one’s body and move their body a little. Working out even relaxes the mind and body, and when one sweats, the toxins present in the body will also come out, leaving the person fresh and more healthy than they were before working out. To lose weight, one should burn more calories than one takes in. Though dieting can be a great method, working out is advised as it shapes and tones the body, also while strengthening it.
Why Should You Workout That Long In A Day?
When one wants to see results in a month, they must certainly work out 4 to 5 days a week. The Department of Health and Human Services has even formed a chart, with which they recommend people to follow the given timings to maintain a fit and healthy body.
Though many health organizations recommend that it is better to work out 4 to 5 times a week, there is nothing wrong with working out every day of the week. For beginners, and anyone who just wants to stay the way they are, fit and healthy, working out 30 to 45 minutes will be more than enough.
People who moderately practice aerobics, can work at least 150 minutes a day, and those who do vigorous aerobic activities, can reduce the duration to around 75 minutes, which is an hour and fifteen minutes. Some walk, jog or run, while some swim, lift weights or do cardio. All one has to do is sweat it all out in a healthy way, no matter what the method might be. Choosing a routine and adapting to it both can be hard, but when one gets used to it, all they need to do is work consistently, until they reach their goals.
It is better to work out every day of the week for 60 minutes if one wants to lose weight, and if one is strength training, they can work out for about 45 to 50 minutes around 5 to 6 days a week.
