Ingredients
- 4 mild or hot Italian sausage links
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, optional
- 2 bell peppers, colors of your choice, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh black pepper
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 –Lightly coat a 9×13-inch sheet pan with cooking spray or line it with aluminum foil.
Step 3 –Place the sausages onto the prepared sheet pan.
Step 4 –Bake the sausages for 10 minutes.
Step 5 –In a large bowl, add the cherry tomatoes, the bell peppers, the onions, the olive oil, the garlic powder, the salt, and the pepper and gently toss until the vegetables are well-coated.
Step 6 –Place the vegetables around the sausages on the sheet pan.
Step 7 –Bake until the sausages reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F and the veggies are tender, about 10 minutes.
