Maple Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 (8-pound) spiral-cut ham, bone-in, fully-cooked, room temperature

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

Step 2 -Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with foil and grease the foil.

Step 3 -In a medium bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, the brown sugar, the mustard, the orange zest, the rosemary, and the pepper.

Step 4 -Place the ham, cut-side down, in the prepared baking dish.

Step 5 -Brush the ham evenly across with 1/4 cup of the maple syrup mixture.

Step 6 -Place the ham in the oven and roast, brushing it every 30 minutes with the maple syrup mixture, until it reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees F, about 2 hours 30 minutes.

Step 7 -Remove the ham from the oven and let it stand for 5 minutes.

Step 8 -Serve hot!
