Melt-My-Heart Frozen Yogurt

Like all good relationships, Melt-My-Heart Frozen Yogurt takes time and attention to really get it right. But also like all good relationships, the results are so, so sweet! Creamy, tangy, and flavored with the tart, vibrant, summery flavor of raspberries, Melt-My-Heart Frozen Yogurt is certainly romantic to its very core. A little touch of dark chocolate adds extra richness to this Valentine’s Day treat! This is certainly going to melt your heart!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –In a blender or food processor, add the yogurt, the raspberries, the vanilla, and the sugar and blend until smooth.

Step 2 –Press the yogurt mixture through a strainer to remove the raspberry seeds.

Step 3 –Add the yogurt mixture to an ice cream maker.

Step 4 –Churn and freeze the yogurt mixture according to the ice cream maker’s instructions, about 16-24 hours.

Step 5 –In the last few minutes of churning, add the dark chocolate.

Step 6 –Serve immediately for soft serve or freeze for an additional 2-3 hours in a container for a firmer texture.
