So, you need a bite of pizza that can appear out of your kitchen in a flash… and just for fun, it should be party-sized! A few New Year Poppers should do the trick! Every tender and beefy mushroom is filled with classic pizza sauce, topped with melty cheese, and even a little savory, spicy pepperoni. They’re quick, they’re easy, and they’re pizza. New Year Poppers starts the new year off with a pop!

Ingredients
- 20 mushroom caps
- 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
- mozzarella, shredded, to taste
- 1 (5-ounce) package mini pepperoni
- basil, shredded, to taste
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a large oven-proof skillet, fill each mushroom cap with the marinara sauce and sprinkle them with the mozzarella generously.
Step 3 –Top each mushroom with the mini pepperoni.
Step 4 –Bake until the cheese is melty and the pepperoni is crispy, about 15-20 minutes.
Step 5 –Top the poppers with the basil.
Step 6 –Serve.
