Roasted Red Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 large red onion, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Slice the onion into 1/4-inch-thick slices and separate the slices into rings.

Step 3 –Spread the onion rings in a glass baking dish.

Step 4 –Add the olive oil to the onion rings and toss to coat.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the onion rings with the salt.

Step 6 –Roast the onions, stirring once halfway through, until they are soft and caramelized, about 20 minutes.
