Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Sausage Breakfast Casserole is an easy, go-to casserole to kick off your day. You can’t go wrong with fluffy eggs, melty cheese, flaky crescent rolls, and tender sausage! In only 25 minutes, you can whip up this delicious breakfast course, whether it’s for a special occasion or holiday, or just your average weekday morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 package crescent rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Place the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.

Step 3 –Unroll the crescent sheet dough and spread it out across the bottom of a greased 9×13 pan.

Step 4 –Evenly spread the sausage over the dough, then sprinkle the cheese on top.

Step 5 –In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, Italian seasoning, pepper, and salt. Pour it over the sausage and dough.

Step 6 –Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the eggs are set and the crust is golden brown.

Step 7 –Serve warm.
