Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

Ingredients

  • 3 (15.25 ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into thin slices

Directions

Step 1 –Place the corn into a slow cooker.

Step 2 –Stir in the milk, sugar, and pepper until well combined.

Step 3 –Without stirring, top with butter and cream cheese.

Step 4 –Cover and cook on high heat for 2-3 hours.

Step 5 –Uncover and stir until the butter and cream cheese are well combined.

Step 6 –Cover and cook on high heat for an additional 15 minutes.

Step 7 –Serve immediately.
