Sweet Coleslaw

Once upon a time, there was a cookout. While delicious and enjoyable, it only focused on the savory side of things. Everyone could tell something was missing. Then, along came the neighbor carrying a huge, heaping bowl of Sweet Coleslaw. After one bite of the crunchy veggies mixed in the sweet and tangy dressing, everyone was filled with joy and wonder. Some declared it life-changing. The cookout host promised never to forget something sweet again and vowed to serve Sweet Coleslaw at every event as a reminder of the lesson learned. Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1 (16-ounce) package of coleslaw mix

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, celery salt, and poppy seeds.

Step 2 –Add the coleslaw mix to the mixture and toss well.

Step 3 –Place the coleslaw in the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 4 –Serve.
