Tater Top Casserole

Here’s a casserole with double the meat and double the flavor! Ingredients

  • 1-pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 pound extra lean ground turkey
  • 1 (16-ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
  • 3/4 cup crispy fried onions
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 cups frozen tater tots, thawed

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 3 –In a large skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble the beef and the turkey until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4 –Layer the meat mixture, the vegetables, and the onions, in that order, in the prepared baking dish.

Step 5 –In a small bowl, combine the cream of celery soup, the cream of chicken soup, and the milk.

Step 6 –Spread the soup mixture over the onion layer in the baking dish.

Step 7 –Top the casserole with the tater tots.

Step 8 –Bake, uncovered, until golden-brown, about 55-60 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve hot.
