The Very Best Whipped Feta Dip

Ingredients

For the dip:

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 8 ounces feta cheese
  • 4 ounces Greek yogurt, plus more, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, plus more, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • assorted vegetables, such as carrots, zucchini, radishes, or bell peppers, to taste, sliced, for serving
  • fruit, such as apples, to taste, sliced, for serving

Optional garnishes:

  • fresh parsley, to taste, chopped
  • scallions, to taste, chopped
  • walnuts, to taste, toasted
  • feta, to taste, crumbled
  • olive oil, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –In the bowl of a food processor, add the garlic, 8 ounces of the feta cheese, 4 ounces of the Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon the lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of the olive oil and pulse until the dip is combined and smooth. If the dip is too thick, add the extra yogurt, 1 tablespoon at a time, and pulse until it reaches the consistency of hummus.

Step 2 –Taste the dip and season with the salt and the extra lemon juice, as needed, and process to combine.

Step 3 –Transfer the dip into a serving dish.
