Ingredients
- 4 pork chops, bone-in
- salt, to taste
- ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 sprigs plus 1 tablespoon thyme, chopped and stems removed
- 6 cloves garlic, minced or chopped
Directions
Step 1 –Season the pork chops as desired with salt and pepper.
Step 2 –In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Step 3 –Add the pork chops, along with 2 tablespoons of the butter and the thyme sprigs.
Step 4 –Cook until the outside is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Step 5 –Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of the butter, the garlic, and the chopped thyme to the skillet.
Step 6 –Drizzle the sauce over the pork chops, flipping and repeating until the pork is cooked to 145 degrees F, about 1-2 minutes per side.
