Brown Sugar Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Coat a casserole dish with cooking spray.

Step 3 –Sauté the minced garlic in the olive oil over medium heat until translucent but not browned, about 2 minutes.

Step 4 –Set the garlic-oil aside.

Step 5 –Place the chicken breasts in the casserole dish.

Step 6 –Sprinkle the chicken with the salt and the pepper on both sides.

Step 7 –Mix the brown sugar into the sautéed garlic.

Step 8 –Spread the garlic-brown sugar mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.

Step 9 –Bake until the chicken is cooked through at 165 degrees F internally, about 15-30 minutes.

Step 10 –Serve.
