Ingredients

  • 10 toasted waffles
  • 1 (25-ounce) package frozen breaded chicken
  • 8 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup, plus more for drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Place the waffles and the chicken on two large baking sheets.

Step 3 –Bake the waffles until golden and crispy, about 15 minutes.

Step 4 –Bake the chicken until warmed through and crispy, about 30 minutes.

Step 5 –Cut both the waffles and the chicken into large chunks.

Step 6 –In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, the milk, the maple syrup, and the butter.

Step 7 –Season the egg mixture with the salt and the pepper.

Step 8 –Reduce the oven temperature to 375 degrees F.

Step 9 –In a 9×13-inch baking pan, layer the waffle pieces and the chicken pieces.
