Coffee Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 medium frozen bananas, sliced
  • 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice, such as whole milk, oat milk, or almond milk
  • 1/4 cup coffee or espresso, brewed double strength
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of your choice, plus more, to taste
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, optional

Directions

Step 1 –In a blender, blend the bananas, the oats, the almond butter, the milk, the coffee, the vanilla, the honey, the ice, and the protein powder together until creamy.

Step 2 –Taste the smoothie, add more of the honey, if needed, and blend to combine.

Step 3 –Serve.
