Crack BLT Dip is what you need when that hunger starts to attack! Stealing flavors from your favorite sandwich, you’re gonna love the way this terrific trio tastes in dip form! Creamy, cheesy, and just plain amazing, Crack BLT Dip is the bomb!


  • 1 pound bacon
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped and mashed into a paste
  • 1 romaine lettuce heart, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • crostini, to taste, for serving


Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with foil, then fit it with a wire rack. Grease a 2-quart baking dish.

Step 3 –Arrange the bacon in an even layer on the prepared rack and bake until it is crispy, about 30-35 minutes.

Step 4 –Transfer the baking sheet to a wire rack and let the bacon cool, reserving 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease in the baking sheet and discarding the rest.

Step 5 –Chop the cooled bacon into small pieces.

Step 6 –Add the tomatoes and the reserved bacon grease on the baking sheet and toss to combine.

Step 7 –Bake the coated tomatoes until they burst, about 10 minutes.

Step 8 –Transfer the baking sheet to a wire rack and let the roasted tomatoes slightly cool.

Step 9 –Reduce the heat to 350 degrees F.

Step 10 –In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, the cheddar cheese, the sour cream, the mayonnaise, the garlic paste, 1 cup of the chopped bacon, and 1 cup of the roasted tomatoes and stir to combine.

Step 11 –Pour the dip into the prepared baking dish and bake until it is bubbly, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 12 –Top the dip with the lettuce, the remaining roasted tomatoes, the remaining chopped bacon, and the lemon juice.

Step 13 –Serve the dip with the crostini.
