  • 8 cups corn chips
  • 8 cups chili, homemade or store-bought, warm
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup white onion, diced
  • sour cream, to taste, for topping
  • fresh jalapeño peppers, to taste, sliced, for topping

Step 1 –Place 1 cup of the corn chips into each of the eight serving bowls.

Step 2 –Ladle 1 cup of the chili on top of the corn chips in each bowl.

Step 3 –Sprinkle each bowl with 1/4 cup of the cheddar and 1 tablespoon of the onion.

Step 4 –Top with the sour cream and the jalapeños.

Step 5 –Serve.
