Time to go! The morning rush is on and, of course, you and the family are in a hurry! You’re not even sure you can squeeze in breakfast. But don’t worry! You can! Family Breakfast Sandwiches make enough for a family of four in less than half an hour! That means everyone can get a hot, fresh sandwich filled with savory egg, succulent and crispy bacon, and melty cheddar! There are few things better for a tight morning schedule than Family Breakfast Sandwiches! Don’t let a rush ruin your most important meal!
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon water
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- butter, to taste, for greasing the pan
- 4 English muffins or mini croissants
- 4 slices ham or bacon, cooked
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
Directions
Step 1 –Heat a small skillet over medium heat.
Step 2 –In a bowl, add the eggs and the water and whisk to combine.
Step 3 –Season the egg mixture with the salt and the pepper.
Step 4 –Grease the bottom of the hot skillet with a thin coating of the butter.
Step 5 –Add just enough of the egg mixture to cover the bottom of the pan and cook until the egg is mostly cooked through, about 1 minute.
Step 6 –Flip and cook the egg crêpe until cooked through, about 15 seconds.
Step 7 –Transfer the cooked egg crêpe to a plate and repeat the cooking process with the remaining egg mixture until there are 4 egg crêpes.
Step 8 –Split the muffins.
Step 9 –In each divided muffin, add 1 egg crêpe, 1 piece of the ham, and 1 slice of the cheddar cheese.
Step 10 –Serve.
