It’s not called Favorite Brie Salad because it’s our favorite; it’s because it will be YOUR favorite soon enough! A crisp bed of greens, with crunchy pecans and juicy apples, and of course the creamy, heavenly brie cheese bites… that would be fantastic even without the dressing! But the dressing just makes it all the better, with an infusion of warm fall flavors thanks to the apple cider mixed in! This Favorite Brie Salad is beloved, and for some very good reasons!
Ingredients
For the salad:
- 1 (5-6-ounce) bag mixed greens
- 4 ounces brie, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 large apple, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 4 green onions, chopped
For the dressing:
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
Directions
Step 1 –Layer the mixed greens, the brie, the apple, the pecans, the cranberries, and the onions in a large salad bowl.
Step 2 –In a Mason jar, add the olive oil, the cider vinegar, the apple cider, the honey, the pepper, and the ginger.
Step 3 –Seal the jar and shake it vigorously.
Step 4 –Drizzle the dressing over the salad.
Step 5 –Serve.
