Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 (15-ounce) can green beans, drained
- 1 (15-ounce) can white string beans, drained
- 1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained
- 1 (4-ounce) jar pimientos, drained
Directions
Step 1 –Combine the sugar, the vinegar, and the oil in a large mixing or salad bowl.
Step 2 –Add the onions, the celery, the green beans, the white string beans, the kidney beans, the chickpeas, and the pimientos to the mix.
Step 3 –Toss everything to ensure all of the ingredients are well-coated.
Step 4 –Place the bean salad into a sealed container and refrigerate for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
