Ingredients
For the dip:
- 1 (16-ounce) can refried beans
- 1 cup jarred picante sauce
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
For serving:
- salsa, to taste
- green onions, to taste, sliced
- tortilla chips, to taste
Directions
Step 1 –In a large bowl, add the refried beans, the picante sauce, the Monterey Jack cheese, the cheddar cheese, the sour cream, the cream cheese, the chili powder, and the ground cumin and stir to combine.
Step 2 –Pour the dip mixture into a 1 1/2-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on high heat, stirring once or twice, until it is heated through, about 2 hours.
Step 3 –Pour the dip in a serving bowl and top with the salsa and the green onions.
Step 4 –Serve the dip with the chips.
