Granny’s Finest Bake

Some things never go out of style and some people know that! Granny’s Finest Bake is an old-fashioned meal that will never let you down and is always in style. This vintage find is loaded with chunks of tender chicken, steamy white rice, and surrounded with a flavorful, creamy sauce and, everyone’s all-time favorite, parmesan cheese. Old is new again with Granny’s Finest Bake. She knows where it’s at when it comes to great comfort food done right and done quickly. Granny has got the goods on good food! The end!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rotisserie chicken, chopped
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups instant rice, uncooked
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • fresh parsley leaves, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3 –In a large bowl, add the chopped chicken, the cream of chicken soup, the cream of celery soup, the cream of mushroom soup, the onion powder, the garlic powder, the black pepper, the water, the milk, and the rice and stir well to combine.

Step 4 –Evenly pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the parmesan cheese.

Step 5 –Bake the chicken bake until the cheese is melty and bubbly, about 40-50 minutes.

Step 6 –Serve the chicken bake garnished with the parsley.
