The fattiness and richness of salmon coated in a sticky, sweet, and deeply savory honey sauce is an enchanting prospect for a decadent dinner that isn’t too heavy. Honey Glazed Salmon is basically a good time on a plate that comes together in a flash. Weeknight dinners just got much fancier and much more fantastic.

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 4 (4-6-ounce) salmon fillets
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons water, room temperature, plus 1 tablespoon cold
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- lemon wedges, optional, for serving
Directions
Step 1 –Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
Step 2 –Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
Step 3 –Place the salmon in the hot oil, skin side up, and sauté until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. The salmon should flake easily with a fork.
Step 4 –Transfer the salmon to a plate and cover to keep it warm.
Step 5 –Add the garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds-1 minute.
Step 6 –Add the 3 tablespoons of room-temperature water, lemon juice, soy sauce, and honey to the pan, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
Step 7 –Mix the cornstarch and cold water together to form a slurry.
Step 8 –Slowly add the cornstarch slurry to the pan, whisking to combine.
Step 9 –Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until just thickened, for about 1 minute.
Step 10 –Return the salmon to the pan and spoon the sauce over it.
Step 11 –Serve topped with parsley and lemon wedges.
