Layered Nachos Supreme

There’s no debate here; these are the fastest, easiest nachos ever. No wonder they got the title of Layered Nachos Supreme! The crunchy tortilla chips certainly have their work cut out for them lifting all those creamy, savory refried beans seasoned with zesty taco spices! And of course, they couldn’t be Layered Nachos Supreme without plenty of melted cheese and classic Tex-Mex toppings! It’s the most snackable dinner of all time!

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package tortilla chips
  • 1 (16-ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (1.25-ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups Mexican cheese blend, shredded
  • 1/2 cup guacamole, homemade or store-bought
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium-sized tomato, chopped
  • 2 jalapeƱo peppers, optional, thinly sliced

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –In a 9×13-inch baking dish, add the tortilla chips.

Step 3 –In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the beans and the taco seasoning and cook, while stirring constantly, until the beans are heated through.

Step 4 –Spoon the bean mixture over the tortilla chips.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the cheese over the bean mixture.

Step 6 –Bake until the cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes.

Step 7 –Top the nachos with the guacamole, the sour cream, the scallions, the tomato, and the jalapeƱos.

Step 8 –Serve.
