Oink Rolls

“With an oink, oink here, and an oink, oink there…” That’s what you’ll have stuck in your head as you’re dreaming about pigging out on some of these Oink Rolls! These soft and savory bites will be the best things to have ever come from your country kitchen. The golden-brown rolls wrapped around melty cheese and spicy sausages will give your go-to pigs in a blanket recipe a run for its money… when pigs fly, you might think. But once you chow down on these Oink Rolls, you’ll understand why we think they bring home the bacon!

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 small apple, peeled and thinly sliced into 24 pieces
  • 6 thin slices Gouda cheese, quartered
  • 24 miniature smoked sausages
  • honey mustard salad dressing, optional, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line one or two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 3 –Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into eight triangles.

Step 4 –Cut each of the triangles into three thin triangles.

Step 5 –On the wide ends of the triangles, place 1 of the apple slices, 1 of the quartered Gouda cheese slices, and 1 of the sausages.

Step 6 –Roll the triangles up tightly and place them 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheets.

Step 7 –Bake the rolls until they are golden-brown, about 10-12 minutes.

Step 8 –Serve the rolls with the dressing.
