Ingredients
- 2 pounds carrots, ends trimmed off and sliced into 2-inch-thick chunks
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- fresh thyme sprigs, to taste, for garnish

Directions
Step 1 –Add the carrots to the slow cooker.
Step 2 –In a microwave-safe bowl, add the butter and heat in the microwave until it has melted.
Step 3 –Add the brown sugar, the salt, and the minced garlic to the melted butter and whisk to combine.
Step 4 –Pour the butter mixture over the carrots and toss to coat.
Step 5 –Cover the slow cooker and cook the carrots on high heat until they are tender, about 3 hours.
Step 6 –Spoon the accumulated juices over the carrots and garnish with the thyme.
Step 7 –Serve.
