Beer-Battered Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 cup beer
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • salt, to taste
  • vegetable oil, to taste
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • sour cream, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –In a bowl, whisk the beer, the flour, the parsley, and the salt together.

Step 2 –Let the batter rest for 1 hour.

Step 3 –Heat the oil in a large skillet to 375 degrees F.

Step 4 –Dip the broccoli florets in the batter and carefully fry in the oil until they are golden-brown, about 2 minutes.

Step 5 –Drain the broccoli on paper towels.

Step 6 –Serve with the sour cream.
