Braised to wonderful tenderness, these carrots are perfectly plated alongside a pan-seared steak and mashed potatoes. Bunny’s Favorite Roasted Carrots only take 15 minutes to make, so they could even become a new favorite snack! They’re delicious enough to enjoy all on their own!

  • 1 (2-pound) bag of baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, plus more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste


Step 1 –Wash the carrots.

Step 2 –Place the carrots in a 2-quart saucepan.

Step 3 –Add water until the carrots are completely covered.

Step 4 –Cover the saucepan with a lid and bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Step 5 –Cook the carrots until the exteriors are tender, about 6-7 minutes.

Step 6 –Drain 1/2 of the water from the saucepan.

Step 7 –Add the butter, sugar, and salt, stirring until well combined.

Step 8 –Cover the pan and cook until the carrots are tender, for about 6-7 minutes.

Step 9 –Taste for seasoning.

Step 10 –Serve.
