It only takes five ingredients (yep, you read that right, only FIVE) to bake up these blissful bites. As a result, you get a layer of chocolatey brownies topped with a sweet and creamy cheesecake layer. Simple but pure perfection. Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix, plus the ingredients called for on the package
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
Step 3 –Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions.
Step 4 –Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
Step 5 –In a mixing bowl, stir the cream cheese and the sugar together until smooth.
Step 6 –Whisk the egg in, then stir the chocolate chips into the cream cheese mixture.
Step 7 –Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the brownie mix and swirl with a knife.
Step 8 –Bake the cheesecake brownies until the top turns light golden-brown and the outer edge is set, 30-35 minutes.
Step 9 –Let the cheesecake brownies cool.
Step 10 –Cut into squares and serve.
