Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 30 ounces frozen shredded hash browns
- 1 (10-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- green onions, to taste, sliced, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 –In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, the onion, and the garlic and cook, while crumbling the meat, until the beef is no longer pink. Drain the excess grease.
Step 4 –Mix the shredded hash browns, the cream of mushroom soup, the milk, the smoked paprika, and 1/2 of the shredded cheese into the beef mixture.
Step 5 –Pour the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
Step 6 –Bake the dinner until it is completely warmed through and the cheese is melted, about 30-40 minutes.
