  •  garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • oil, for frying

Directions

Step 1 –Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2 –Using a mixing bowl, combine together the salt, onion powder, garlic powder, ground black pepper, paprika, and allspice.

Step 3 –Mix in the chicken pieces.

Step 4 –Coat the chicken in cornstarch, making sure the cornstarch is evenly distributed.

Step 5 –Pour the egg white into a small bowl and the breadcrumbs in another bowl.

Step 6 –Coat each piece of chicken in each bowl, and set aside.

Step 7 –Once you are ready to fry the chicken, heat up the oil over medium heat.

Step 8 –Once the oil reaches about 350-375 degrees F, lightly place the pieces into the oil in batches. Do not add too many pieces at once as this will overcrowd the pan; make sure to work in batches until all of the pieces have been fried.

Step 9 –Deep fry the chicken until it is golden brown.

Step 10 –Move the chicken pieces onto a piece of paper towel to drain off the excess oil.

Step 11 –Serve and enjoy with a dipping sauce.
