Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) frozen pie shell
For the filling:
- 1 cup leftover stuffing, crumbled
- 1 cup leftover turkey, chopped
- 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1/4 cup parsley leaves, roughly chopped
- kosher salt, to taste
- ground black pepper, to taste
For the custard:
- 1 1/4 cups half-and-half
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- kosher salt, to taste
- ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
Step 1 –Pre-bake the crust, following the package instructions. Then set aside to cool slightly before filling.
Step 2 –Adjust the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
Step 3 –Sprinkle the stuffing and turkey into the pre-baked pie shell.
Step 4 –Top with the cheddar and parsley, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5 –In a separate bowl, whisk together the half-and-half, eggs, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
Step 6 –Pour the custard mix over the filling.
Step 7 –Bake the custard until set, about 35-40 minutes.
Step 8 –Remove the quiche from the oven and cool until room temperature, about 30 minutes.
Step 9 –Serve warm!
