Take us out to the ballgame! Take us out to the crowd! Or, you know, take us to the dinner table so we can enjoy a slice or two of Ballpark Pizza! This chili-dog inspired pizza has savory hot dog pieces, hot chili, melty cheddar cheese, and the traditional sprinkling of onion and relish on top that really capture getting a dog at the game! Plus, it has mustard! Who doesn’t like mustard on their hot dogs? Ballpark Pizza is so, so good, you might not care if you ever get back to traditional pizzas!
Ingredients
- 1 (11-ounce) tube refrigerated thin pizza crust
- 1/2 cup yellow mustard
- 1 (15-ounces) can chili with beans
- 6 hot dogs, sliced
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- onions, optional, to taste, chopped
- sweet pickle relish, optional, to taste
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
Step 3 –Unroll and press the pizza dough into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Step 4 –Bake the dough until the edges are lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 5 –Transfer the dough from the oven.
Step 6 –Spread the mustard over the crust.
Step 7 –Top the mustard layer with the chili, the hot dog slices, and the cheese.
Step 8 –Bake the pizza until the crust is golden and cheese is melted, about 10-15 minutes.
Step 9 –Serve topped with the onions and the relish.
