Disco Fries

This is peace, love, and potatoes coming straight out of your pad’s kitchen. These are ready in under an hour so you can enjoy the crispy and coated snacks whenever a party’s about to go down! Ingredients

  • 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen French fries
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic puree
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend, shredded
  • 1/2 tablespoon chives, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Place the French fries in a single layer on a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet and bake according to the package directions until golden brown.

Step 3 –Add the butter to a large saucepan over medium heat.

Step 4 –Once the butter is fully melted, add the shallots and the garlic puree to the saucepan, stirring well and cooking until the shallots begin to soften, about 4 minutes.

Step 5 –Add the flour to the pan and stir well, cooking until it starts to brown slightly, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 6 –Add the beef broth to the saucepan, whisking well to combine.

Step 7 –Add the Worcestershire sauce to the pan and whisk well to combine.

Step 8 –Bring the gravy to a boil and let it boil until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 9 –Reduce the heat to low, whisking well.

Step 10 –Transfer the fries from the oven and sprinkle them with the cheese.

Step 11 –Return the fries to the oven and bake until the cheese melts, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 12 –Pour the gravy onto the fries and sprinkle with the chives.

Step 13 –Serve.
